Further information

Capa First Response is a support service for families and professionals impacted by CAPVA. Parent in this instance is any adult who has parental responsibility for a child under 18yrs or 25yrs with neurodevelopmental need or diagnosis . With an accessible self-referral process, families do not need to have professional support to access our services.
Capa recognises that all families have their own complexities and a ‘one shoe fits all’ approach does not work. We offer bespoke support and work with a relationship and strength approach model, to emphasise and restore positive attachment.

We offer:
Free weekly 30-minute advice and support sessions.
Free or low cost 121 support for the WHOLE family - over a longer period of time we help families explore the reason behind the behaviour and provide strategies which look to stop the behaviour and increase positive communication and increase healthier relationships.

For Professionals
We offer advice & support, training, network events, supervisions and organisational consultancy
