About Lucy
Struggling with our emotions or the emotions of our children can leave us feeling stuck and helpless. While it can feel hard to reach out for professional help and support, it is important not to take on these struggles alone.
My aim as a child and adolescent psychotherapeutic counsellor (BSc, PGCert, PGDip, MEd) is to provide the people I work with, with a safe, non judgemental space where we can work together to find the right way forward for you, your child and/or your family. I work creatively with children, parents and practitioners.

Further information
I am a specially trained to work with children, adolescents, their parents and youth practitioners (BSc, PGCert, PGDip, MEd). I use a variety of approaches and creative mediums to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. Therefore I am person and child centred at the foundation of my work.
I also work closely in line with the nervous system with knowledge on how this influences our emotional regulation and functioning day to day, and strategies for understanding and mastering our own emotional regulation and growth.
I truly believe that it is relationships that can help people to work through their struggles, support the development of self-esteem, emotional awareness and emotional regulation. With this I take a relational approach within my work, and I am also interested in upskilling and strengthening the relationships around my clients, to give as long lasting an impact as possible.
Since qualifying in 2016 I have mainly worked in educational settings, and more recently in London based local authorities with children, carers and practitioners in the foster care system and youth services. I am now opening my own private practice in the village of Kings Langley, starting in January 2024.
