About Naomi

I am a play and creative arts therapist, therapeutic wellbeing practitioner and clinical supervisor. I am the team leader and wellbeing and mental health lead in a large mainstream primary school and secondary school managing teams of practitioners and placement students. I am also trained in parent-child work and specialised therapeutic approaches for working with neurodiversity, trauma and trauma-informed education.

I work in private practice supporting young people with a range of challenges including eating disorders and self-harm.

My space

Further information

I have a special interest in children with complex medical conditions, special educational needs and neurodiverse children and young people. I am especially interested in neurodiversity in girls and masking.

I am interested in, and work, with eating disorders and dissociation as well as trauma caused to young people as a result of medical or psychiatric care.

I currently manage the weekend play and creative provision for sick children and their families at Great Ormond Street Hospital. I am a tutor and lectuer on the Child Therapeutic Wellbeing Practice training and founded Acorn Wellbeing Outreach.
