Using the Directory

A short guide to using The Sunflower Directory to search for an individual professional or for an organisation or group.

The Sunflower Directory has been designed to be really easy to use to enable you to find either an individual or an organisation to help you support the child, young person or family you have in mind.

All of the individual professionals listed have been thoroughly checked and verified, and fulfil our extensive required criteria. You can find details of that criteria by clicking here.

Organisations, charities, CICs, groups and specialist services ie anyone listing themselves as an organisation hold their own responsibility for the accuracy of their information and their safeguarding policies so you may need to check in with them directly if you have any questions.

You can search the Directory using a wide variety of filters such as location, type of session offered, help needed and/or specialism.

If you change your mind or want to add in another option at any point, you can return to that particular filter using the options on the left of the page.

If you’d like more information about the different types of support and professionals listed on the Directory, we have also created a searchable guide called Discover More. This includes some links to resources to help you find out more.

Once you have completed your search criteria, the website will then bring you a selection of relevant practitioners or organisations for you to choose from.

When you then select someone you think could help, you have a choice of ways to contact them; phone, direct email or website. It is then up to you to take your enquiry further.

We wish you all the best in your search.
