Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a serious but treatable and manageable mental illness of which psychosis is a main symptom. Some people believe schizophrenia is having a split personality or are violent, which is not true. People with schizophrenia have a distorted view on reality and this is often linked to symptoms of psychosis. They may experience low mood, anxiety and neglect themselves or have confused and muddled thinking.
